Hazard Mitigation Planning:

Bandera County, Office of Emergency Management, has updated the County's Hazard Mitigation Plan and the update has been approved by FEMA. The plan aims to save lives and property by reducing hazard vulnerability for Bandera County and participating jurisdictions. During the course of this planning project, county and local leaders and the community have worked in tandem to identify risks, assess capabilities, propose actions, and formulate a strategy to reduce disaster vulnerability. The Hazard Mitigation Plan is a FEMA requirement for grant eligibility to minimize losses in the event of any natural disaster.
